Rumor: Canon Lenses That May Be Announced In 2013 (and no EOS 70D On March 22)

The EF 100-400mm, introduced in 1998

I got some tidbits about lenses that Canon may announce in the next months, or at least before end of 2013. This comes from a new source, so take everything with a grain of salt (some things look a bit weird to me). The same source also stated that some of the lenses listed below could be announced on Friday March 22nd, though I am pretty sure that Canon will not announce any lens next Friday. Finally, the source said there will not be an EOS 70D announcement. The EOS 70D is said to be announced later on, but before Summer 2013. Some of the lenses already showed up in previous rumors.

Rumored lenses:

  • EF 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6 IS II
  • EF 14-24mm f/2.8L
  • EF 35mm f/1.2L II
  • EF 135mm f/2L II
  • EF 19mm f/2.8L
