Canon EOS 5DS & Sigma 50mm f/1.4 Art sample pics (results are spectacular)

The folks at Reviewed.com got a beta sample of Canon’s EOS 5DS, the 50MP DSLR that competes with medium format sensors.

Having such a resolution monster asks for a super sharp lens. What better choice as the Sigma 50mm f/1.4 Art lens, one of the sharpest lenses out there and a pixel peeper’s delight. All sample pics were shot with a beta unit, in RAW, and later converted to JPG using Photoshop CC with minimal sharpness enhancement. All pictures can be downloaded full size. The Sigma 50mm f/1.4 Art is the lens PetaPixel called “stroke of genius“. Pixel peepers enjoy!

See all sample pictures at Reviewed.com. Spoiler: the results are spectacular! The EOS 5DS delivers, and Canon is now leading the megapixel race.
