crap.. onyl crap from canon lately

What do Canon T2i T3i T4i T5i SL1 and EOS-M share in common? An exact sensor! What a fail by Canon.

  • One More Thought

It seems that the SL1 does have a new sensor…now whether it represents any IQ improvement, one doesn’t know at this point…but it is a new sensor module that is thinner to fit the smaller form factor…just watch the videos…

I will reserve judgment until the camera actually hits the market…I at first thought poorly of the 6D but now realize it is an excellent model.

The key is to compare it against other mirrorless offerings because that is the competition…IMHO it has to offer better IQ than m4/3 with the larger sensor…and with some of Canon’s lenses it will still offer a small form factor.

I think too many people are ready to criticize a camera they have never used or even held.

“..IMHO it has to offer better IQ than m4/3 with the larger sensor…”…no OMD sensor is better.

“IMHO it has to offer better IQ than m4/3 with the larger sensor…”

      E-M5, E-PM2, E-PL5, GH3 sensors are better.

“and with some of Canon’s lenses it will still offer a small form factor.”

Only with the useless 40/2.8. And still not nearly as small as a NEX with 16-50 powerzoom (!) or small m43 with Pana 14-42 powerzoom or any number of excellent primes.

”First impressions”?? !!!!!! WTF what have gotten into you canon watch.??

what about few more disappointments named firstly.

Another half hearted disappointment from Canon. The Eos M was bad enough, this just proves how devoid of ideas Canon must be. There is a massive market for a high end large sensor mirrorless camera from Canon. It needs to be well made from quality materials , retro in design, so as not to look like a plastic toy, and with a quality built in viewfinder. These largest offerings show a total lack of ideas or originality , for gods sake, employ somebody with some style capabilities, ring Fuji, and see if they can help, because these largest products won’t sell, will cause people to lose faith with the band , and they will be massively discounted by Christmas, which will annoy anyone who has bought one, if they were daft enough in the first place

  • I guess Canon is completely relying on their brand. “Hey it’s a Canon! It has to be good!” “Yes, I can take cool pictures with it!” X’D
