Anyone considered that the lens used in the phone could have been designed by canon? Rather than being able to use canon lenses. Or maybe the phone lens has an f/1.8 aperture. Maybe even hinting at a 50mm focal length.

Makes no sense whatsoever. Why would you stick a honking SLR lens on an itty-bitty smart phone? Defeats the purpose of both.

Sounds like a gimmick to me. There are people out there that would by It. Probably the same ones that use their full size ipads to shoot video at sporting events. Just silliness to me.

HTC is just going to market a camera phone and saythat is produces DSLR results…that’s all.
