[Photokina] New Canon Powershot Around The Corner, It’s G15 (with f/1.8 lens)

You may wonder where the G13 and G14 got lost, but here it is: Canon’s new PowerShot G15. No hints so far about specs and price, except that it has an f/1.8 lens. Flash is pop-up. In any case it proofs that Canon is still keeping the PowerShot line alive, even after the PowerShot G1 X, Canon’s first attempt to make a mirrorless camera (though without interchangeable lenses).

9 months ago |So that’s why all these EF 50mm 1.4 lenses keep dying! Thanks for the info.

9 months ago |so , if you’re in hong kong (or china) , some building did not have the floor including the number 4….. (4, 13, 14, 24, 34, 40-49….) it’s a very weird but funny tradition…
But canon is a japanese company , I’m not sure the word 4 will effect a lot or by the other reason. But if you look ay Panny , GF series are also skipping number of 4….

9 months ago |The word four in Japanese (and seven) sound like “death” – so yes, likely why it isn’t named that.
