Digicame-info just posted what I am pretty sure are the reals specs of the upcoming EOS Kiss X70 and Powershot G1 X II, both expected to be announced tomorrow together with other Canon gear.

Canon EOS Kiss X70 specs:

Surprised that the X70 has “just” a DIGIC4? Well, with 3 fps there is no need for a faster CPU. Let’s see the G1 X II specs.

Canon Powershot G1 X II specs:

• 13.1 MP in 4/3 format, 12.8 MP in 3:2 format, CMOS sensor 1.5-inch
• Lens 5x optical zoom of F2.0-F3.9, 24-120mm equivalent
• DIGIC6
• LCD monitor 3-inch touch panel. Tiltable.
• Wi-Fi/NFC
• Dual control ring
• Shorter start-up time, and faster shooting time and continuous shooting
• Creative shot
• Multi-scene IS
• Optional custom grip and EVF

DIGIC6 is welcome, and the other specs also look good. Unfortunately we do not know the fps of the G1 X II but it should be around 5 fps with focus locked.
