Canon Patent for Transparent Mirror

Egami (translated) spotted a pretty interesting patent filed by Canon. The patent refers to a transparent mirror technology (aka pellicle mirror), the technology Sony employes on their SLT cameras. This could be a hint about what Canon’s engineers are working on.
