When I first got the Canon EF 8-15mmzoom lens I thought it was an interesting gimmicky ‘toy’ that could make an amazing image in the right location, but it took me about a year to take it out for the first time for something that I thought would be perfect for this super, ultra-crazy wide angle lens.
[…]Due to the interesting round shape of the church and the tomb in the middle I thought that this ceremony would be just right for the 8-15mm lens, which could give me a very different perspective than anything else I’d ever seen from this location. Even the 15mm lens I used in the past couldn’t give me the full interior of the church. Working with such a wide angle doesn’t always work but when it does, it blows you away!
