Canon EOS 5D Mark III vs Sony A7 (Digitalrev)

DigitalRev‘s Kai is comparing the mirrorless full-frame Sony A7 (price & specs) to the Canon EOS 5D Mark III [shoplink 2431](price & specs)[/shoplink], Canon’s professional full-frame DSLR. Can the two compete? Can a mirrorless cam, even if FF, really compete with a professional grade DSLR (that has also access to Canon’s impressing line-up of lenses)?

I would always opt for the EOS 5D Mark III.
