Photography Blog posted their EOS 7D Mark II review. And it is another review that highlights the killer features of the 7D2: auto-focus, high ISO performance, speed.
From the conclusion:
The Canon EOS 7D Mark II is an excellent DSLR camera, with its APS-C sensor, cutting-edge auto-focusing system, fantastic viewfinder and outright speed making it a great fit for sports and wildlife, especially as it doesn’t cost the earth.
Featuring a near-identical control layout to the 5D Mark III, the EOS 7D Mark II makes the perfect partner to the 5D for the keen Canon shooter looking for an all-round kit. The new 65-point auto-focus system in particular is a big step forward, along with the excellent performance at higher ISOs, the fast 10fps continuous shooting, excellent metering system, impressive optical viewfinder with 100% coverage and a more refined movie making interface.
This is not the first review to point out how well the EOS 7D Mark II fits into a photography kit together with the EOS 5D Mark III. Having a very similar menu system and button layout, the EOS 7D Mark II complements with its full-frame sibling. It’s the extra reach (1.6 crop factor) and the advanced AF coming into play here.

We had a lot of coverage of the EOS 7D Mark II here on Canon Watch. The EOS 7D Mark II is the industry leading DSLR in the APS-C world, the best possible APS-C camera for professional sport and action photographers, not to forget photojournalists. And it comes with the relatively affordable price of $1799 for the body only. You get the AF-system of the EOS-1D X, 10fps, and excellent high ISO. If you want to learn more about the 7D2 I recommend you read about the excellent weather sealing, the highly advanced AF, and the industry leading high ISO performance (have a look here too).
Photography Blog also posted a set of 26 sample images shot with the 7D2 (RAW format, original size).
