330 Still Photos used to Make a Minute-long Movie about NYC (Rebel T2i & 18-135mm IS STM)

The video above was made by Ynon Lan, an Israeli artist, when he visited NYC. He shot approximately 3600 pics and select 330 to make up the video. Have a different, artistic eye on never resting NYC.

In an interview with DIY Photography , Ynon Lan said:

I was looking for a way to portray all the different types of scenery and people that I saw as well as keep the constant energy of the city

Ynon didn’t use high-end gear for this project, a [shoplink 1393]Canon EOS 550D/Rebel T2i[/shoplink] with an [shoplink 6295]EF-S 18-135mm f/3.5-5.6 IS STM[/shoplink] kit lens did the job, Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe After Effects have been used for postprocessing. The ambient sounds were recorded with the 550D’s  built-in microphone.

Humor: What if Canon was a Man?

Watch DigitalRev’s Kai do a parody imagining how Canon would be if the company was a human being, a man.

What kind of person would Canon be if it was a real person, or even your boss? This is Canon as a man, throughout the era of the creation of EOS and Ultrasonic; making printers and calculator mice; the digital era and finally the threat of mirrorless cameras.
