A new rumor regarding the Canon EOS 70D, the successor of the highly popular Canon EOS 60D [shoplink 335](price & specs)[/shoplink], surfaced on the web. While the announcement date of April 23th is still taken for valid, a new spec list showed up.

I have not much to add. As previously reported, and listed in the specs, the new sensor featured on the Canon Rebel SL1/EOS 100D will most probably be featured also on the Canon EOS 70D.

Korean site dicahub posted some interesting stuff about the world’s smallest DSLR, the Canon Rebel SL1 / EOS 100D [shoplink 11240](price & specs)[/shoplink].

First, a size comparison (translated) with the Olympus OM-D E-M5 and the Panasonic DMC-GH2 (see image above and below). The Canon Rebel SL1 / EOS 100D is definitely a tiny piece of gear, and it is a DSLR!

They made also a ISO Noise test (translated). The high ISO performance of the Canon Rebel SL1 / EOS 100D is very good. Scroll down to the end of the post to see the crops.
