Another third party lens rumor today. And as almost 100% of the rumors that get sold to you, it comes from Weibo. They’re just not telling you, usually, all those serious rumor sites that always forget to mention where they got a rumor ;-)

Hi Lows Note spotted a patent application (2018-189733) by Sigma for a 12mm f/2.8 lens for full frame cameras.

Apparently the lens has some sort of distortion correction built in:

There are more inexpensive Opteka lenses in case you’re interested, for instance a 35mm f/1.7 lens starting at $89.99. Amazon too lists a set of Opteka lenses.
