On my way back after the motorcycle accident, I had to sleep in the truck that was taking me and the bike back to Manali. The picture was shot at 5:30am, the sun was rising over the mountains.

Shot with the [shoplink 14246]Canon EOS 70D[/shoplink] and the [shoplink 14551]Sigma 18-35mm f/1.8 DC HSM[/shoplink], post-processed in Adobe [shoplink 13714]Lightroom 5[/shoplink] and Perfect Photo Suite 8.

I can tell you: the EOS 70D and the Sigma 18-35mm f/1.8 are a killer kit!

Unfortunately I had an accident with the motorbike while travelling to Ladakh. I injured my left hand and now I am stuck here in Old Manali, India, for some time. I spend most of the day walking around this mountain village, chatting with the people and taking pictures.
