5 months ago |Just read a review of the Sigma 120 to 300mm over at the The Digital Picture.
http://www.the-digital-picture.com/Reviews/Sigma-120-300mm-f-2.8-EX-DG-OS-HSM-Lens-Review.aspx
He says that the Canon 70-200mm f/2.8L IS II “handily” beats the Sigma for sharpness.
I own the Canon and the Canon 1.4X III which brings the lens to 98mm-280mm, albeit with the f/stop loss and the
slight loss in sharpness for the Canon that may still equal or best the Sigma. To me that is a much more flexible combination with as good or superior image quality.
Considering, if you shop it…you can grab a Canon for ~$2100 and the the extender for $400 or $500 with the rebates..you are saving a bundle and getting better image quality, and more flexibility as well.

5 months ago |Oh..what is the lens at CES the replacement for that lens..since it is such an odd zoom range I thought it was the same lens.
