Rumor: Canon EOS 650D coming soon – maybe at NAB?
It seems that the new EOS 650D/T4i could be announced soon. Amazon UK, Amazon France, Amazon Germany and Amazon Canada (and possibly other Amazon shops too) have a “Canon 650D for dummies” listed (in French, and not yet available). The book will be released May, 17th.
The EOS 650D/Rebel T4i will most probably have a 18.1MP sensor, DIGIC V image processor, improved ISO performance, built-in WiFi, a touchscreen and a new AF functionality for video recording. I always thought that the EOS 650D/T4i would be released for Photokina, but the EOS 650D book showing up at Amazon made me change my mind. I mean, next week there is NAB and Amazon shops list a book that will be released short after? Cannot be a coincidence. If true, this is a good time to check for EOS 600D/T3i deals.

wireless for the insane priced new canon RT flashes.
and the 5D MK3 needs an extrea transmitter.
i wonder how many customers of a 650D will buy a flash that costs as much as the camera.

but canon is a fair company.. they want to give others time to catch up.. that is why they bring no innovations to the market.

2 years ago |slightly better on high iso would be nice. but why same IQ in raw? do you know more about “more video crap…”? the video funktions are the main reason why I’m interested in this body…

2 years ago |Nothing more about the video modes. The only other possible spec I heard is that it could have a 24MP instead of a 18MP sensor. And I am somewhat puzzled about the possible announcement at NAB. Doesn’t seem to be the right location to announce the T4i/650D.

2 years ago |Nikon D3200 has 24 m Pixel. 650D can not be less. 60fps at 1080p is a must have. DIGIC V is a must.
