Canon Says The EOS 6D Is Not Discontinued
After we reported that Amazon UK was listing the Canon EOS 6D as discontinued (see pic above), Amateur Photographer asked Canon what it was about. A spokesman of Canon UK answered that “they got it wrong”. It seems Amazon UK is just planning to no longer sell the EOS 6D (for what reason ever).
The EOS 6D is a very popular full-frame camera in Canon’s line-up, and contrary to some meaningless rumor, it’s selling very good. So, it’s a mystery to me why Amazon UK doesn’t want to sell it any longer. At the time of writing the EOS 6D is still listed as discontinued.

Canon Working On A Lego-Style DSLR?
Canon Rumors writes:
We’re told that Canon will introduce a brand new DSLR model some time in 2015 that will be somewhat modular. All we were told is that the viewfinder will be interchangeable, as well as “other parts of the camera”

Controls
This housing is just-right-sized to hold comfortably in your hand. Controls are provided for all important camera functions. Both the front control ring and rear dial are gear driven to place the controls within easy reach. A sensitive shutter lever makes it easy to half-depress the trigger for focusing and metering. All rear controls are clearly marked with engraved indicia which will never fade or fall off.
