The amazing video above was made by Nicolaus Wegner, and it took him 5 months to put it together. He says:
High plains storms are some of the most beautiful and wild in the world. I spent May – September 2014 photographing all types of severe weather in Wyoming, Montana, South Dakota, Nebraska, and Colorado. This time lapse project is a result of that effort. From rainbows to tornadoes, there is a little bit of everything in here.
To realise the time lapse video he used an [shoplink 254]EOS 5D Mark II[/shoplink] and [shoplink 7139]EOS 6D[/shoplink], and [shoplink 246]EF 16-35mm f/2.8L II USM[/shoplink], [shoplink 168]EF 70-200 f/4L IS[/shoplink] and Rokinon 14mm lenses.

After we reported that Amazon UK was listing the Canon [shoplink 7139]EOS 6D[/shoplink] as discontinued (see pic above), Amateur Photographer asked Canon what it was about. A spokesman of Canon UK answered that “they got it wrong”. It seems Amazon UK is just planning to no longer sell the EOS 6D (for what reason ever).
The EOS 6D is a very popular full-frame camera in Canon’s line-up, and contrary to some meaningless rumor, it’s selling very good. So, it’s a mystery to me why Amazon UK doesn’t want to sell it any longer. At the time of writing the EOS 6D is still listed as discontinued.

Amazon UK has the Canon EOS 6D listed as discontinued by manufacturer. Just a mistake or a sign that something is coming? Most probably just a mistake, it’s a bit early for an EOS 6D replacement, though the EOS 6D Mark II is expected for 2015 (according to my sources).
