Skylum has released Luminar 4 update 4.1. The Skylum Luminar 4 update is installed from within the application. Luminar 4 is currently discounted to $79 (reg. $89).

The latest update adds haze functionality to the Artificial Intelligence Sky Replacement feature, along with the usual bug fixes. From Skylum’s press release (below):

The new Atmospheric Haze slider is perfect for adjusting the light balance for the replaced sky and the image foreground. Use this new slider along with Sky Temperature and Sky Exposure for perfectly balanced images.

Just open the Advanced Settings for the AI Sky Replacement tool to get the most realistic sky replacement. The new Atmospheric Haze slider is perfect for adjusting the light balance for the replaced sky and the image foreground. Use this new slider along with Sky Temperature and Sky Exposure for perfectly balanced images. We recommend atmospheric haze when your sky replacement is oversaturated, or it’s brightness doesn’t match the foreground.

Skylum announced the release date of Luminar 4.

Skylum Luminar 4 will be available to the masses on November 18, 2019. If you preorder now at $79 you get bonus one-year plan to SmugMug (worth US$180). Upgrading is $69. When released on November 18, the price will jump to US$89 new and US$79 for an upgrade.
