Breaking News: Laser damages DSRL Cameras

It’s true, laser beams, like those of the sun, could damage DSRL Cameras, but, as always, we have to use common sense.
It’s not a surprise that you cannot point more then a while the camera to direct sun as you cannot do it with your eyes, this could produce irreversible damage to your eyesight.
The same concept can be applied to DSRL cameras and extended to laser beams. They could heat up the camera’s sensor.
Therefore, It’s reasonable to take precautions not to let laser beam enter directly in your camera lens and this should be done with “any” Camera.
With proper care (eye safety is first), it doesn’t mean that you can’t photograph the sun or laser beams, and fortunately, there is no need to preserve your Camera in a bunker!
