Notice to our readers – working on site [Update]

Update: it’s done. Hope everything works fine for you.

Hi all, just a short post to tell you that I am working on a new layout for Canon Watch, along with some fine-tuning and bug fixing.

I apologise for any inconvenience you may encounter. I am trying to keep things as smooth as possible but some downtime and maybe a quirk or another (which I missed) may show up.

Thanks for your understanding!

A ‘Walking Dead’ LEGO Stop-Motion Animated Short Made Using a Canon Rebel T3

Wonderful little video made with a simple Canon [shoplink 331]Rebel T3/EOS 1100D[/shoplink] by artist MonsieurCaron.

What happen when Daryl Dixon see some smoke in the forest ? Will he investigate it ? Is there any walkers over there ? This short LEGO brickfilm use the very rare Zombie Hunter Enthusiast minifigure made with genuine LEGO bricks by Citizen Brick as well as custom zombies head and a collection of more than 250 000 LEGO bricks. It’s not really a Walking Dead story, more of an homage to Norman Reedus character and the zombie genre.

MonsieurCaron shot over 3000 pictures, and spent a month to build, film, and edit the whole stuff. The result is awesome. There are 15 images per second! Congrats!

Canon Europe Cash-Back on EOS 7D2, M3, 750D, 760D bundles (up to €300, 5DS and 5DS R listed but not yet available)

Thanks Andrea for the tip!

All (or at least most) European Canon subsidiaries started a cash-back program on select DSLR and lens bundles lasting from April 23 to July 31. Cash-back goes up to €300. Sorry for being late on this. This cash-back program appears to have little to do with Canon UK’s program. Edit: Thanks lw for pointing me to Canon UK.

The listed sites offer the cash-back program for the Canon EOS 7D Mark II, EOS M3, and EOS 750D and 760D. Some of the sites have the EOS 5D Mark III and the EOS 5DS and EOS 5DS R also listed for the program but not available for the time being. See terms and conditions in your language and for your country:

Remembering Loved Ones with Canon (video)

Memorial Day is getting closer (Monday, May 25), and CanonUSA on YouTube posted a neat little video about remebering the loved ones.

Memorial Day is set aside to honor the memory of those that have passed before us. Check out Jen Hadfield’s simple idea that she and her family use to commemorate their loved ones.
