The TravelLite 50 Reverse-Folding Tripod from Sunpak is a lightweight and versatile aluminum tripod with an Arca-type ball head, featuring reversible legs that make it compact to pack for travel or for storage. It has a generous load capacity of 11 lb to support mirrorless cameras or DSLR cameras with lenses, a maximum height of 51″, yet it weighs only 2.2 lb and folds down to a compact 13.2″. Its compact form factor make it easy to pack in carry-on luggage, backpacks, and large camera bags, so it’s easy to keep a tripod on hand whenever or wherever you shoot. The non-marring rubber tipped feet allow for steady and secure placement, and each leg can be adjusted to various angles for uneven terrain or low-angle shooting. The bottom of the center column features a ballast-hook for holding extra weight for increased stability.

The included Arca-type ball head features a useful index scale, useful when shooting landscapes and for panoramic imaging, and a single-action knob for quick setup and repositioning. The included quick release plate has a 1/4″-20 camera screw, and rubberized pads to prevent camera movement or marring the camera’s finish.
