I just got a tip (thanks)that the Canon Powershot G3 X may indeed be announced this Friday, June 19th.
Images and specs leaked today on Digicame-Info and are summed up in English here. As usual when images leak on DCI the announcement is matter of few days, that’s why I rate this CW3 CW4.

Canon U.S.A. Takes The Field At Yankee Stadium For The 12th Annual Canon Promotional Night
The National Center for Missing & Exploited Children, the New York Yankees and Canon Celebrate Home Run Efforts Made to Help Bring Missing Children Home
MELVILLE, N.Y., June 16, 2015 – Canon U.S.A., Inc., a leader in digital imaging solutions, the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children and the New York Yankees teamed up for the 12th annual Canon Promotional Night at Yankee Stadium on June 9 to raise awareness about the importance of child safety.
During a pre-game ceremony against Washington, Joe Warren, executive vice president and general manager, Corporate Human Resources, Canon U.S.A., Inc., presented to John Walsh, co-founder of NCMEC, a check in the amount of $456,566, representing the cumulative amount of money raised and donated and the approximate retail value of product donated by Canon U.S.A. to NCMEC in 2015. To celebrate the joint efforts made to help keep children safe, the first 18,000 fans that entered the Stadium received a Canon and Yankees co-branded baseball cap.
A lot of us think that Canon will push the EOS M system after the announcement of the Canon EOS M3. What to some degree is missing are native lenses for the system (though you can use any Canon EF and EF-S lens thru the adapter).
That’s where this rumor perfectly fits. The rumor suggest that a Canon EF-M 85mm f/1.8 IS STM lens may be around the the corner. I am just wondering if a 85mm lens is the most urgent thing to release to push the EOS M system. Other focal lengths would be more appreciated, and also more useful for the EOS M system.
What we heard (here at CW) is that Canon will announce a new EF-M 18-55mm IS STM kit lens, to pair with the new EOS M3. I have no candidate announcement date for the new EF-M 18-55mm IS STM lens, but if the rumor is reliable then an announcement in Q4 2015 could be plausible. Canon would be in time to bundle the new kit lens with the EOS M3, ready for X-Mas sales.

Photography Blog got their Canon EOS 5DS and they are testing it without a break. Now they posted the full review. The EOS 5DS gets a “Highly Recommended” and a rating of 4.5/5.
Excerpts from the conclusion:
The Canon EOS 5Ds combines the proven design of the popular 5D Mark III with jaw-dropping image quality from the new 50.6 megapixel sensor.
The sheer level of detail that can obtained from the 5Ds and a high-quality lens like the EF 70-200mm f/2.8L IS II USM is difficult to ignore once you’ve experienced it, though, so if you can commit both financially and in terms of time to the Canon EOS 5Ds, we’d whole-heartedly recommend it.
The Canon EOS 5Ds has inherited some extra design features from the EOS 7D Mk II which make it the best designed 5-series camera to date.
[…] as we’ve discovered after shooting thousands of images with the 5Ds and a variety of older and newer lenses, only the latest and greatest lenses together with careful technique are good enough to get the absolute best out of that 50 megapixel sensor.
