Canon EOS 7D Mark II Preview And Comparison With Other EOS Cameras (and more sample pics, Gizmodo)

Gizmodo posted a video comparison of the [shoplink 22664]EOS 7D Mark II[/shoplink] vs. the [shoplink 14246]EOS 70D[/shoplink] and the [shoplink 2431]5D Mark III[/shoplink].

Basically the 7D Mark II inherits the video quality of the 5D Mark III. It lacks moire, and its sharpness is almost equal (maybe every-so-slightly softer). However, it’s a whole lot better than the 70D, especially in low light. While its noise levels don’t quite reach the standard of the full-frame sensor on the 5D Mark III, it’s still terrific in the dark.

 

The folks at Gizmodo also made a short photo-walk with the EOS 7D Mark II and shot some sample pictures.
