Stand E.50 in Hall 11 of the RAI venue was home to Canon, and it drew large crowds of industry professionals who were eager to ‘Touch and Try’ the extensive range of Canon products including the XF205 HD camcorder and the CN7x17 KAS S – Canon’s first-ever cine-servo lens, which features a 17-120mm zoom, stunning 4K optical performance and a removable drive unit.

Canon Powershot G7 X Hands-On Review (Dpreview)

Dpreview posted their hands-on review of the Powershot G7 X. An excerpt:

As far as autofocus is concerned, the G7 X features a 31-point contrast-detection AF system (not hybrid). We’ve only used a pre-production sample but our initial impressions of focus speed are very positive. No doubt the tendency to focus with the lens’ aperture wide open – regardless of the shooting aperture – keeps AF working fast and reliably, even in lower light.

Reviewer “Frank Lasagna” compares the Canon [shoplink 7139]EOS 6D[/shoplink] vs the [shoplink 11242]Rebel T5i[/shoplink], and he does it on his own way. For instance, he tests high ISO performance spying his neighbour’s wife at night with a zoom. AF is tested while the subject is “fleeing”. The video is a parody of Dave Dougdale’s comparison of the [shoplink 335]EOS 60D[/shoplink] vs the [shoplink 5623]Rebel T4i[/shoplink].

There is more weirdness in the video, and also some strong language. So I would say it’s NSFW.
