The Phoblographer reviewed the Sigma 18-35mm f/1.8 DC HSM lens, the first lens for APS-C DSLRs that has constant f/1.8 over the zoom range. All other reviews I featured here on Canon Watch are in line with this one: all praise the excellent build quality, the great sharpness, the fact that this is an outstanding lens. They tested the Sigma using a Canon Rebel SL1/EOS 100D. While I strongly suggest you have a look at the review (which comes with plenty of sample images), here are some excerpts:
