Yesterday DPReview added the Canon EOS 5D Mark IV to their Studio Scene Comparison Tool.

The folks over at Digicame-Info made a high ISO performance comparison between the Canon EOS 5D Mark IV, the [shoplink 29228]Nikon D810[/shoplink] and the Sony [shoplink 32538]Alpha a7RII[/shoplink]. Well, the EOS 5D Mark IV is clearly ahead the competition. See the picture above or try it out by yourself. You can see the ISO performance at ISO 25600 of the EOS 5D Mark IV is clearly better than the Nikon D810 and also has an edge over the Sony a7R II.

Canon’s new sensor design (with ADC on chip) is showing its advantages. Kudos Canon!

DPReview posted a set of sample pictures shot with the new Canon EOS 5D Mark IV (a pre-production model I guess). Moreover, raw conversions has been made with a very early beta build of Adobe Camera Raw. Hence, image quality may not represent the final shipping version.

dpreview com posted a short video where they compare the Canon [shoplink 40051]EOS 5D Mark IV[/shoplink]’s rolling shutter with the [shoplink 37157]EOS-1D X Mark II[/shoplink] and the Sony a6300. Will Adobe support Dual Pixel RAW files of the Canon EOS 5D Mark IV? This was a big question soon after we learned that the Canon [shoplink 40051]EOS 5D Mark IV[/shoplink] would have this killer feature named Dual Pixel RAW.

Adobe will support this feature (and file format) in upcoming versions of [shoplink 30426]Lightroom 6[/shoplink] and Photoshop, C|net reports.

“We’re working on it,” Adobe spokesman Roman Skuratovskiy said Thursday. He declined to say when Adobe would add the update to Lightroom and its cousin, Photoshop, though.
