Today a bunch of Canon firmware updates was released for mirrorless cameras. Not much to…
Images and a first set of specifications of the upcoming Canon EOS 2000D leaked at Nokishita.
- 24.1 million pixels APS-C

- Full HD video
- 3.0 type liquid crystal

- Wi-Fi installed
- Size: 129.0 × 101.3 × 77.6 mm

The EOS 2000D is clearly more upmarket than the also leaked EOS 4000D.
The Canon EOS 4000D and EOS 2000D are the monikers for the EU market. The new Canon DSLRs will respectively be named EOS 1500D and EOS 3000D in China (and likely in the rest of Asia). The reason for this is probably known only to Canon’s sophisticated market strategists. However, we thought there were three new entry level DSLRs coming but it turns out it’s two new DSLRs (most likely).
Announcement is expected for next week. Stay tuned.[via Nokishita]
