Not everyone is fond of these awards, some consider them heavily influenced by the big camera companies. However, the Canon EOS M50 wins “best APS-C entry level” and the Canon RF 600mm f/11 IS STM wins “best prime telephoto lens”. Here are the TIPA 2021 awards:

This ready-to-launch product is called Inspiracles Photography Inspiration Cards! Inspiracles are colorful card decks full of creative ideas and exercises to help you learn photography. The cards contain bite-size photo tasks that are easy to understand without needing a lengthy explanation.
To put it simply -Inspiracles are user-friendly starter kits you can always have on hand. And most importantly, they do not require any special photographic equipment and will work great with just your smartphone!
How does it work?
Inspiracles treat photography theory as an add-on -not a necessity to enjoying the product. We wanted to provide helpful tips and background to make it easy to learn more about photography, but we didn’t want to confuse you by adding more than necessary.

We know that the Canon EOS R3 will be a highly innovative product. Another game changer by Canon, I might add. Here is a YouTuber who goes even further.

More about the Canon EOS R3 is listed here. The Canon EOS R3 is a professional mirrorless camera positioned between the EOS R5 and EOS-1D X Mark III. We are sure the EOS R3 will be another hot selling Canon camera, after getting s**t storm for months, obviously. The Canon EOS R3 has a stacked CMOS sensor with a back-illuminated design (patents), a primer for Canon. Eye-controlled autofocus is also on board (showed up in patent). We do not know about the sensor resolution so far.
Canon asks a $250,000 reimbursement and claims the event organizers violated the terms of a three-year sponsorship agreement. Once more, it’s the Covid pandemic to cause issues. As Yahoo News reports:
The dispute appears to center on whether the 2020 event was “canceled,” as Canon alleges, or “postponed” — the term fiesta organizers have used to describe last year’s shutdown.
In June 2020, fiesta officials announced that last year’s event had been “postponed” until Oct. 2-10, 2021, as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.
In its lawsuit, Canon alleges that “the 2021 Fiesta is not being advertised as the postponed or rescheduled 2020 Fiesta. The 2020 Fiesta was canceled, and the 2021 Fiesta is in fact its own separately-scheduled event.”
To support its allegation, Canon cited a variety of media reports that described the 2020 balloon rally as having been canceled.
So far the event organizers have just answered that the 2021 balloon fiesta will be held beginning October 2, 2021, and that 600 hot-air balloon have been registered.
The 2017 agreement between Canon and the Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta organizers obliges Canon to sponsor the event with $720,000, of which $250,000 would have been for the 2020 event.
In July 2020, fiesta organizers sent Canon a proposed amendment that would have extended the terms of the 2017 sponsorship agreement for an additional year, according to the lawsuit.
The amendment also would have applied Canon’s $250,000 sponsorship fee to the 2021 Balloon Fiesta. Fiesta leaders offered Canon the proposed amendment a second time in September.
Canon USA rejected the proposal to extend the sponsorship agreement for a year and now it is a lawsuit.. The full story is at Yahoo News.
Venus Optics announced a super fast lens for a series of camera mounts, RF mount included: the Laowa Argus 33mm f/0.95. But the lens is for an APS-C sensor.
Not sure what to think about the fact that there is an RF mount lens for APS-C sensors. Is it a sign that the rumored EOS R model with APS-C sensor is coming?
The Laowa Argus 33mm f/0.95 CF APO is currently available to purchase via Venus Optics official website and authorized resellers. The US price (ex-VAT) for Laowa Argus 33mm f/0.95 CF APO is $499. Pricing varies in different countries. Shipping starts from Early May for Fuji X and Sony E mount. The Nikon Z and Canon RF will be shipped from Mid May.
