Canon Rumor: New Canon SpeedLites Coming in 2013 (and new Yongnuo flashes too)

Canon SpeedLites

Two new Canon flashes rumored to be announced before end of 2013. One could be the replacement for the Canon Speedlite 430EXII, the other one a new flash for the EOS M system (source: CR)

Not a rumor but it fits well in this post. Yongnuo announced the YN510EX flash, compatible off camera only with Canon’s E-TTL flash systems. Yongnuo makes inexpensive yet effective flash systems for Canon DSLR (among other brands). The Yongnuo YN510EX could cost somewhat between $75 and $125 (source: lightingrumours via slrlounge). Pics and press release after the break.

Canon EOS 70D Set To Be Released on October 21st in Europe

Canon EOS 70D
B&H Photo, Adorama, Amazon USA, Amazon Canada, Canon Canada, Canon USA

At least that is what both Amazon France and Amazon Germany write on their EOS 70D product page. The EOS 70D was said to be released by the end of August 2013, but maybe that’s true just for the US and in Europe we have to wait somewhat longer. Thanks to reader Thierry for pointing me to this.
