Two new Canon flashes rumored to be announced before end of 2013. One could be the replacement for the Canon Speedlite 430EXII, the other one a new flash for the EOS M system (source: CR)
Not a rumor but it fits well in this post. Yongnuo announced the YN510EX flash, compatible off camera only with Canon’s E-TTL flash systems. Yongnuo makes inexpensive yet effective flash systems for Canon DSLR (among other brands). The Yongnuo YN510EX could cost somewhat between $75 and $125 (source: lightingrumours via slrlounge). Amazon France has the Canon EOS M kit with the EF-M 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 IS STM lens and the SpeedLite 90EX on sale for €400 (click here). Same kit discounted also on Amazon Germany, on sale for €390 (click here). Not the killer deals going on in the USA (check this one too) but still pretty good deals for a well working mirrorless camera.

At least that is what both Amazon France and Amazon Germany write on their EOS 70D product page. The EOS 70D was said to be released by the end of August 2013, but maybe that’s true just for the US and in Europe we have to wait somewhat longer. Thanks to reader Thierry for pointing me to this.
