From the conclusion:

While early EOS M-series mirrorless cameras underwhelmed a little, the new M6 has the features and image quality to be a serious contender in the hybrid market, as long as you don’t want 4k video.

For photographers considering an update from an older EOS M, M2, M3 or M10 model, the improved specifications make the M6 a worthwhile upgrade. While the exclusion of a built-in EVF is probably a deal breaker for serious enthusiasts, they aren’t the M6’s target market, with the larger DSLR-style EOS M5 still in the Canon lineup to meet their needs. Of course you can add the accessory EVF to the EOS M6, but that adds $200 to the price, makes it bulkier than the M5, and limits the use of the hotshoe for a mounted flash, so not ideal.

If you are into photography you likely know Photokina, the world’s leading event for everything related to photography, video and imaging.

As for now, Photokina was an event occuring every two years. Starting from this year, Photokina will take place every year.

photokina will take place annually as of 2018. It will in future thus optimally reflect the fast-paced nature and the ever briefer innovation cycles of an increasingly digitalised industry. As of 2019 the trade fair will also have a new date in May. In addition to innovations from the core areas of the imaging workflow, the entire range of products, applications and services of relevance for imaging shall in future be presented in Cologne. The Sigma 135mm f/1.8 ART must be an amazing lens, at least according to what reviewers say. It’s clearly another great lens by Sigma.

Canada based photographer and reviewer Dustin Abbott published an exhaustive review of the Sigma 135mm f/1.8 ART lens.

From the conclusion:

While the Sigma 135mm f/1.8 ART may not win any awards for being Sigma’s sharpest, brightest, or cheapest lens, I do think that in many ways it is Sigma’s most complete prime lens. Unlike some of the ART series, I didn’t find it clinical but instead appreciated the quality rendering from the lens. It does tend to skew white balances a little cool, and it doesn’t deliver the most deeply saturated colors out of the box, but the images process well. I have seen several excellent 135mm lenses for Canon/Nikon mounts in the past two years, including the Samyang/Rokinon 135mm f/2 and the outstanding Zeiss Milvus 135mm f/2, but both of these options are manual focus only. The Sigma 135 ART is the first 135mm lens to bring the excellence of modern lens design coupled with useful autofocus.
