Tamron announced (translated) the release date and price of their new superzoom: the Tamron 150-600mm F/5-6.3 Di VC. The lens is set to go on sale as pre-release in Japan on December 19, 2013 for 140.000 Yen (approx. $1300/€1000). Other countries will follow.

The Tamron 150-600mm F/5-6.3 Di VC features the nanotechnology based, eBAND coating for better optical performance. The lens has 20 elements in 13 groups.
