Canon EOS 70D Reviews Round-Up

Now that the Canon EOS 70D started shipping more and more reviews based on production models show up.

Techradar praises the excellent image quality, the broad control over image settings, the touch screen, and more. In the long verdict hey write:

Although you need to take care in high-contrast conditions, in many situations the 63-zone Evaluative metering system does a great job, delivering a perfectly exposed subject. The camera’s images also have natural colours with pleasant saturation and contrast, but as ever, if it’s not to your taste you can tweak the camera’s settings to deliver what you want.

New sample photos shot with an EOS 70D have been published at ephotozine.

A hands-on at photography bay, they write:

[…] the advances in the standard phase detection AF when using the optical viewfinder are most welcomed. The 70D’s viewfinder with all those additional AF points feels like a 5D Mark III Jr.[…] for right now it all looks very promising.
