Canon Shows Prototype of 8K Lens (19.7 to 138mm)

At Inter Bee 2014 Canon showed off a a prototype 7×19.7N KAS D Cinema servo lens that’s capable of 8K footage (7,630 x 4,320). Japanese broadcaster NHK has been using the lens for their 8K testing. This lens will never be available to the general public.
