France and Germany: Win a Canon EOS 6D in 2 Exclusive Competitions (Canon Professional Network)

This concerns photographers form Germany and France.

You can win an EOS 6D by participating to a photo competition backed by Canon Professional Network. Entries from photographers in Germany and France are selected by iStockphoto, a royalty-free online photo resource. Julia Holmes, PR Manager of iStockphoto, says:

The iStock competition is a fun and engaging initiative calling photographers to upload submissions according to the country themes. The event is exclusively sponsored by Canon with select media partners in both countries. The competition is aimed at both professionals and amateurs with a microstock focus, and some of the submissions will go into the iStock catalogue upon discussions between photographer and iStock.

The rules:

For the German competition here photographers are asked to submit images to the themes of autumn moods – including people, places and regions. Enter here if you live in Austria or Switzerland, too.
Closing date for entries is 24 November.

For the French competition here photographers are asked to submit images of France.

Closing date for entries is 29 November.

Other things you have to know:

After the application period has ended, a jury of industry experts will choose the winners, judging them on submission criteria. First prize is the magnificent Canon EOS 6D, with further prizes including the Canon EOS 600D and Canon PowerShot S110 compact,” Julia Holmes revealed, adding: “We’ve already had a fantastic response in Germany with over 1100 submissions and France has also got off to a good start.
