More Hints That Canon Could Soon Announce the Next EOS M (two of them)

Canon Deals

More cues that we could soon see a/two new Canon EOS M camera(s). The latest rumor suggests that Canon could announce an entry level and a more feature-rich EOS M body at the same time. The more pro oriented body should be available with some interesting accessories, as an EVF and a new flash. The basic model is said to come with more color options as the actual EOS M and to have a concretely lower price tag. Hints that these rumors are solid are also given by the fact that more and more shops lists the EOS M as discontinued. FInally, there should be a new telephoto lens for the EOS M system.

I have been told (and am pretty sure) that Canon will announce the new EOS M before X-Mas- Stay tuned.

B&H still has some EOS M kits and all are heavily discounted, same for Amazon.

Rumor: A New Canon EOS M Before X-Mas?

EF-M 11-22mm f/4-5.6 IS STM Review

Some new tidbits about the successor of the Canon EOS M. New murmurings surfacing on the Web suggest that Canon may release a new EOS M camera before Christmas, though there is still uncertainty about the announcement date. The camera to be released before Christmas would be one of the two new EOS M cameras Canon is supposed to have in work. Of the two cameras one will be a higher end EOS M, the other similar to the current EOS M camera. Moreover, there should be two new EF-M lenses, a telephoto and a macro.

There is still the weird fact that the amazing [shoplink 14076]EF-M 11-22mm f/4-5.6 IS STM[/shoplink] lens appears  to be not sold in the US, which may suggest that Canon is not sure if the EOS M system is suited for the global market.

Canon EOS M kits are still available on fire sale at Amazon (click here) and B&H (click here).
