“Fall Campfire” stop motion shows how well simple tricks can work out when used in a smart way

Ok, the post title is a little complex but I wanted to capture your attention for Israeli artist, director and animator Ynon Lan‘s video, Fall Campfire. It’s just 30 seconds but it will let you with a smile. Ynon Lan used a Canon [shoplink 1393]EOS 550D[/shoplink] to make the video.

I featured other works by Ynon Lan previously, a somewhat different time-lapse of New York City and Still NYC, where he assembled 330 pictures out of 3600 to make a somewhat different timelapse of New York City.

New Canon EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 IS STM kit lens coming with next Rebels? [CW3]

This is the second lens rumored to be announced in 2017, the other being the EF 85mm f/1.4L IS.

The next iteration of Canon’s entry level Rebel line, the Rebel T7, may come with a new version of the classic kit lens, the inexpensive [shoplink 11699]EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 IS STM[/shoplink]. No specs so far.

We are pretty sure Canon will announce new Rebel DSLRs soon. Registrations of possible candidates showed up at certification authorities. The announcement could happen before CP+ (February 2017).

Canon patent describing an optical formula for a 6-22 mm f/1.4-1.8 lens for a 1/1.7″ sensor equipped camera. 6-22mm is 28-100mm equivalent on full-frame sensors.

The Canon [shoplink 30519]PowerShot G3 X[/shoplink] and Powershot S110 are equipped with a 1/1.7″ sensor (as other Canon Powershots), so I guess this patent is possibly referring to a future Powershot model.
