Canon patent application US20190094490 describes the optical formula for an 8-15mm fisheye lens. Given the back focus distance this is most likely a lens for the EOS M system.

In order for a zoom lens to have a wide angle of view and achieve high optical performance across the entire zoom range and the entire object distance range, it is important to appropriately set the elements constituting the zoom lens. For example, it is important to appropriately set the zoom type (the number of lens units and the refractive power of each lens unit), the lens configuration, and the lens unit selected for focusing, and so on.
If these configurations are not appropriate, achieving a wide angle of view will increase the size of the whole system and also increase the variations of various aberrations caused by zooming and focusing. It will therefore be difficult to achieve high optical performance across the entire zoom range and the entire object distance range.
For example, for a fisheye zoom lens having an imaging half angle of view of 85 degrees or more, a meniscus lens having an extremely strong negative refractive power needs to be disposed closest to the object side within the first lens unit in order to take light rays into the zoom lens from such a wide angle of view. Generally, lenses in a first lens unit not only have strong refractive powers but also have large effective diameters. Thus, when it comes to a fisheye zoom lens, its first lens unit is heavy and large as well. Then, if the entirety or part of the first lens unit (the closest lens unit to the object side) is used as a focus lens unit, quick focusing will be difficult.

Patent application US20190094566 describes the technology for a sensor based image stabilisation system.

An image stabilizing apparatus includes an optical element, a first fixing member, a movable member that holds the optical element, and is movably supported in a flat surface perpendicular to an optical axis, a ball sandwiched between the movable member and the first fixing member, a vibration wave actuator that includes a piezoelectric element and a vibrating plate, and moves the movable member, a slider that contacts the vibrating plate, and is provided in the movable member, a spring that pressurizes the vibrating plate against the slider, and a second fixing member fixed to the first fixing member so as to make the vibrating plate and the slider contact each other with a predetermined pressure.
EDIT: it seems the Zeiss Ventum lenses will not be for mirrorless systems but for drones or surveillance. My bet is for drones since “Ventum” in Latin means “wind”.
Mirrorless Rumors leaked an image of what seems to be a lens of a new lens line-up by Zeiss, the Ventum lens series.
According to rumors, the Ventum lenses will be for full frame mirrorless system, i.e. for Nikon’s Z and EOS R systems.

Canon announced their mirrorless system, two models are on the market. What’s next for the Japanese industry giant?
Predictions about Canon’s agenda have become quite difficult since the company is pretty secretive. However, some predictions can be made.
In general, Canon will focus on updating product lines and launching new ones, like the ZV-123 instant camera with built-in printer.
Three new PowerShot G series cameras might be announced. We expect the PowerShot G7 X Mark III, PowerShot G5 X Mark II and PowerShot G9 X Mark III to get announced within 2019. Stuff leaked about the PowerShot G7 X Mark III, almost nothing about the other two cameras.
The Canon EOS 80D and EOS 7D Mark II are also ready to be replaced. Rumor has it that Canon may launch one new camera to replace both the EOS 80D and the 7D Mark II. The replacement for the EOS 80D appears to be more likely to be announced this year, we are less confident about the EOS 7D Mark III. Some new Rebels are most likely also on Canon’s agenda. Finally, new Cinema gear and camcorders can be expected to be launched in 2019. We do not think Canon will announced the replacement for the EOS -1D X Mark II in 2019.
A new EOS R model is possible in 2019, although rumors suggest Canon will not announce a new EOS R model. If they do, it will be a high resolution EOS R camera. There are also six new RF lenses Canon already announced they will develop. These six new RR lenses might well be announced in 2019.
And the EOS M system? A new EOS M model is possible in 2019, though we didn’t get any hints so far.

Canon EOS-1D Mark III and EOS-1D Mark II N – Two Budget Professional Camera Options
This is a continuation of my series of articles about highly capable cameras for those of you on a budget. This article is for professionals, or those seriously seeking to be professionals. I chose these two cameras for review because you can get both for about $900.00 used if you play your cards right. Considering you’d have to pay about ten times that much when they were new to get both, I’d say they qualify as excellent subjects for my budget article series here. Warning: These are top quality professional instruments. If you haven’t held a Canon 1D series camera before (or a Nikon equivalent), you still don’t know what a top quality professional instrument feels like. I thought I did, I was wrong. And before those 5D guys jump on my case I say to them: Pick one up and use one before you reply, and you’ll know. Then, you’ll just agree and we can be friends again.
